Ive had a leather cover on my truck before. it was cheap and did what I needed at the time. It has since(after 5 years) bitten the dust. I through around the camper top thought for a while and may still one day get one. For now I'm pretty set one a retractable cover. anyone have a recommendation?
I'm looking hard at this one. Looks ok and seems to be strong. Ill be able to put stuff on top of it when its rolled out and it retracts easily.
thoughts or recommendations?
TIA

No experience but that looks pretty badass.
ETA: I could have used something like that during this last Mardi Gras to keep random kids out of the bed of my truck during the parade.

When the guy stood on it, it sold me on the idea. I want it to be strong enough that if I'm loading or unloading and need to set something up there, it wont collapse.

I now think I need that.

this is one thing I dont like. The "can" where it rolls into takes up 9 inches(insert dick jokes) of bed space

That may not be bad for guys who haul their 4 wheeler in the bed. Assuming you can still close the tailgate, you wouldn't have to worry about the 4wheeler busting the back glass. Just thinking out loud. What's the price on one of them bad boys?
I'd like one for my ram (insert dodge is a piece of shite) bc its a single cab and would help me when I travel and don't use the van.

I trailer the ranger everywhere so Im not worried about that. I dont have a price on it because that site didnt list one.
Our banned hommie Boats also advised me to look at the pace edwards jack rabbit. Looks pretty good too.

get the BakFlip 2. Had one on my Ram and it did the job and didn't waste space.

My dad has a Roll N Lock on his truck that's similar to that. Pretty sure it takes up a little more room though. I'd love to have one.

Id say as long as you wont miss the 9" of bed space, and you have the money, this is a must have

I have a Peragon cover on my F150 and have been pleased thus far. I've had it on for a year.

since I found that out, Im thinking about the folding kind. I have a tool box in my truck, so loosing 9" because of the cover and more because of the box just wont work

Let me know what you get. I have a toolbox in mine and would like a cover as well.

If you have a cover, no need for the regular toolbox unless you just love it. I would get a slide in/out toolchest by the tailgate that can be romoved with little hassle if it is needed

Im thinking about this one. Is does all the same things as the roll up, but it doesnt take up any bed space.
this is a BAK BakFlip HD Aluminum Tonneau Cover
