I am in the Lafayette area and need to get my camper roof released. Any recommendations on places? What should I expect to spend?

Not sure on the cost of doing it the conventional way. There's a place in Houma that will spray a lifetime coating. If interested I can get you a link.

Cost varies by size obviously, but I beleive a 40 ft camper costs about $4000.

What exactly do you mean resealed? Like, the whole thing needs to be redone or you have a couple of spots that need to be redone?

My guess would be to remove all the old Dicor caulking from every seam and around every roof opening vent etc..
and re applying new Dicor501 around all seams and openings...

It's a pretty labor intensive process. They take everything off the roof- vents, antennas, A/Cs etc., peel the old roof off, and go back on top with their product.

Not saying it's for everyone, but after seeing some of the damage a roof leak can do in those things, it's a pretty nice product to have.

Some of these big arse campers cost big money and lots of folks don't want to hassle with recaulking every few years.

Major part of their market are folks whose roof has gotten torn or damaged. Quite a few insurance companies would rather pay for a roof once as opposed to the potential for another claim down the road.
