Recommendations/Opinions on Cowboy Grills

There are a bunch of places that sell their version of the "cowboy grills" I was curious if anyone has one, and would like to get there opinion on it. As well as which brand to purchase if i do choose too.

I have really been enjoying my Member's Mark cowboy grill from sams. I bought it as a fire ring and to use for a scout meeting at my house and haven't cooked on my gas grill since. Something satisfying about cooking over an open wood fire.

How well built is the actual cooking grate? I have read a few reviews that said they buckle easily and are fairly cheaply made.
