Fellas, got a Ranger in the shop that has been killing the battery, replaced the stator, voltage regulator, and obviously battery. Dealership is saying the fuel pump could actually be causing the battery to be drained. To replace the fuel pump, they say the whole tank also needs to be replaced. You can charge the bike all night, run it in the morning, and in the afternoon it will die while you're riding. Anyone else have any experience with this? Is the dealership just throwing caca at the wall hoping something will stick?

Not sure if that is what's causing the drain but I can confirm that you will have to replace the whole tank unless you find a shade tree guy and give him a ford pick up fuel pump and make it work. What year is the bike?
