7 acres of sunflower mixed in with millet. We beat the rain. Come on September!

7 acres huh... sounds like you need a lot of shoots for such a large field...

I don't really know yet. Me and my dad split the costs. He fronted the cost for the fertilizer and seed. Once we are done. I think last year we spent around 1K total for the whole season but don't hold me to it.

It's a small field but we only hunt about 5 guys so it's perfect for my crew.

we planted one of our fields 2 weeks ago. the others we just pile out the chops, wheat, and sunflower seads in august

Hope you have developed a plan to keep the deer out while the sunflowers are coming up.
