Pier next to the Causeway

Anyone fished off the pier next to the causeway? If so what baits should i use? Not a fisherman, thats why i ask. Thanks for your knowledge.

Yes. It depends on how fresh the lake is. Cast as far as you can towards the bridge, there's a deep hole there. If the lake is salty you can catch White trout. If it's super muddy and fresh, you could used bait shrimp, sausage, or chicken livers and can catch Blue cats. This is one I caught there a couple of years ago.

thats all ive seen caught out there

one dude was fishing out there all night and probably had 15 of them, lots of big ones

You catch a lot of sail cats too. It's really hit or miss.
