RKI or weatherguard. Go ahead and spend the money now. Either will last longer than cheap brands.

My steel RKI + the shite I have in it weighs probably 4-500lbs. I can feel it when I jack it up with a 3.5ton floor jack.

My old aluminum one didn't have as much stuff in it, and bowed in the middle. This one has a shite ton in it, and doesn't bow at all.

I cut plates to go underneath the bedrail so the nuts wouldn't rip the metal while I was bouncing around

Eta: I got mine used from an OB'er. It is 15+ years old now and all OEM hardware. All I did was get new locks put in it because he lost the key

My UWS is fine but I'm in and out of there a few times a month.

My weather guard is going on 20 years old and still works great. Doesn't look all that great anymore, but the latches are still perfect.

Nothing but Weatherguard for me the last 6 trucks. I tried the Better Built and UWS brands and they just wouldn't hold up. The Weatherguard boxes are expensive but, take a hell of a beating.

Whichever brand you choose, look at a low profile model. I didn't do my "homework" when I bought mine. To me the regular high models block a lot of the vision in the rear view window and looking out the back window when backing up.
