Picked up a new Ruger Charger

I always thought the Charger was stupid and had no real use. Found a new one in box today for $220. What the hell I'll give stupid a try. Pulled the stupid bipod off of it first thing. Well it's not THAT stupid just not on my stupid charger. Really wants to be shot from the hip like you are a bag guy with a MP5 in Die Hard 2. Well I havent' shot it yet I need to put some type of sighting mechanism on it. Actually if I'm shooting from the hip why bother? Maybe I need a big stupid drum on it and double down on the stupid? I was considering chopping down a walnut 10/22 stock and making it a mare's leg. That might be fun.
Googled Charger Mare's leg and saw this charger. This looks like a fun project!
I have to say I really like the BX-15 magazine. Not from a functional perspective because it seems really bulky to add just 5 rounds to the BX10. But, it looks really good in my 10/22 rifle compared to the BX25. It gives my regular ole 10/22 a great little M1 Carbine proportion.
Will do an auto bolt release, scotchbright the internal receiver, and radius the bolt first. Stock trigger seems much better than the stock trigger in my 10/22. Honestly feels better than my Voltuartsen target hammer. Pull is about the same but with less creep.
