Correct.

The Zombie ammo uses one of three bullets already available from Hornady as a component bullet:
Varmint Zombie bullets/ammo have a green tip, but are otherwise identical to the red tip V-Max bullet.
Some of the Zombie ammo (e.g. the 168 gr 308 load) use the Hornady A-Max bullet.
Some of the Zombie ammo (e.g. the 160 gr 30/30) use the Hornady Flex Tip bullet (that's also used in the Leverevolution loads).

Having said that, sometimes the Z-Max component bullets are CHEAPER than the non-Zombie bullet. I just bought #500 22 cal 40 gr Z-Max bullets because they were $3/100 cheaper than the V-Max bullets. Go figure!
