A guy on his way to Grand Isle had his PA14 fall out of the back of his truck and it was picked up by someone else. He is offering a reward if returned. The plate on the car in the picture supposedly come back to a Amber Stafford in Denham Springs.

Saw this. Is this considered stolen or just found? Weird situation.

The OT would’ve had pics of Amber, not just the kayak

That guy Jack Hickman is a real douche.

We get it bruh, this is a facepalm moment. How does leaving that comment help anyone?

That said, if that second photo is of the people who stole it, it will be on fb marketplace soon.

How can you drive over 60 miles and not notice you lost your load? It crap like this that make the roads unsafe especially at night.

FB, Doyle HS, typical LP twenty something with a kid. Boyfriend dresses like typical white rapper. Chances of meth involved - 100%

I've met Jack a few times. He's not a douche.

Dolt doesn't deserve it back. If he can't tie or buckle it down.

That kayak could of easily killed someone.

It sounds like it happened in the 90degree turn once you get on the overpass in Leeville. The strap broke, I actually had this happen before and now I secure my kayak with 2 cam straps and one ratchet strap.

He lost it on the bridge at that sharp turn. Didn’t hear it fall off. Strap broke

Nah, Jack's a douche, just a lovable douche..

Seriously, he's a great guy that would give you the XXL shirt off his back.

Quick Facebook search pulls them up easily.

Guy strapping the boat down looks to be Colby Knight, her boyfriend, at least the tats seem to match.

Don’t really see how he did anything wrong. Dumbass shouldn’t have left his boat on the side on the road.

If they ran the plate and they have her address in Denham Springs. Why not go knock on the door, ask where is my kayak and offer up the reward

This is better than fistfights over who found a snapping turtle by the road first.

Anyway, the finders are owed something for recovering and safeguarding a heavy-arse expensive PA14. The sooner the original owner contacts them, the better.

And be ready to learn an expensive lesson.
