Outdoor screen projector

There’s so many models just looking for a high quality option under $1000. To my understanding, Lumens are the biggest consideration.
Anyone have any expertise? At this point I’ll take basic knowledge
Goals:
Outside projection. Space is relatively big and will be projecting onto a white screen. Ideally able to use near sunset and obviously, night. Very little ambient light on our back yard pavers.

There is not a high quality projector for $1k. If you don't care about picture quality and brightness you can maybe find something.
Epson 5050ub has been $500 off the past few weeks, probably the best lowest cost projector. High end units you would be getting into JVC and Sony.

Try an Epson Powerlite….seems like a good compromise

I’m beginning to realize you are right. I can spend more, but as you go to $2-3k you start getting into the price range of decent outdoor LED TVs which I was trying to avoid.
Definitely going to try and go used and get a laser projector, or a bulb projector with plenty of life left.

Ive seen this one recommended. What are you sacrificing here though? Some of the used options with high lumens are only $350-750.
