Looking to add some up lighting on the house going up the wall and a few posts. Also want to add some lighting, maybe spot lighting, to the corners of the house that will be shining on a small tree on either side of the house and also spot lighting going up 2 large oak trees. Want them to all be on a timer and plugged into an outlet.

What products do you recommend?

Look at the Volt lighting website. Their stuff has lifetime warranties on fixtures for not much more than the cheap stuff at Home Depot

Don't like low voltage because of the type of connections.
You'd be digging a lot to install 120 volt stuff and making terminations correctly.
If you can mount on the wall or fence, do it, also use LED, they are sealed for when you point upward.
A lot of work to make it look nice, good luck.

I bought a kit from this seller on Ebay:
Landscape lighting kit on Ebay
The product was great and the seller is the best I have ever done business with on Ebay. I had a tech question and they had their installation expert call me 15 minutes later. I also had a bulb burn out (it has been 5 months) and they sent me two more no cost to me.
