Outboard Hydrolocked - Questions for Mechanics

So I went out fishing today solo, and on my way to a few spots my motor died on plane. Trimmed up and saw saltwater coming out of the cowling. Long story short, towed back to dock, and noticed the telltale (or pisser) line was ruptured and filled the cowl up... which eventually reached the intake (I'm assuming). It was twisted around, most likely from connecting the hose for flushing.
How bad is the damage? Should I be prepared for the worse? I dropped it off at the dealer since it's under warranty... Just concerned they will blame me in some way due to the grommet breaking, twisting the water line.

Pop the plugs out right quick. Spin it over a few times. Put it back together and fire it up.

pull the plugs and cranking to blow all the water out and then i would spray wd40 into the cylinders real good before putting the plugs back in and running it right away.
also salt water will be into all the electronics and electrical plugs, so take every plug loose and blow it out with air hose, rub a little grease in the plug and then reconnect it. all you can do about the ECM and relays and such is just pray water didnt get inside them and they dont go bad.
after all that is done i would liberally spray the shite out of everything with a can of wd40 until its dripping from everywhere to coat it all with a light film of oil to prevent corrosion

Get you a tube of dialectric grease for your electrical molex style plugs.
Everything I have if it MAY see water in its lifetime has dialectric grease in the plugs.

I'd put some dielectric grease on ALL electrical connections that were exposed to saltwater. Saltwater is very corrosive to metal and when connections become corroded it can increase resistance and lead to overheating and melting of the plastic connectors.

A can of CorrosionX works good for waterproofing Electronics.
