yeah, the gauge still showed about 1/4 tank but no light. THen I looked at my mileage and said, "Aw shite i'm outta gas." The light hasn't come on since either b/c I fill that fricker up now before it gets that low.

yep, thats it. also, could not find anything referring to it in manual.....may be there, but didn't see it.

i had to use a coat hanger once because i had taken it out when i was cleaning out the truck and didn't put it back. only time i ever came close to running out of gas. backwoods wv and no towns for miles. of course there was a WVU game and all the stations near the ride were closed.
luckily i was carrying a 5 gallon in the bed to fill up the SxS that evening.
