Anyone have a M&P Shield EZ 2.0 9mm that you have added an optic to it?
1st choice is green but would settle for red.
Currently having a difficult time fitting optic / mount on slide.
Willing to start over with a proven combination of mount and optic that work properly.
Anyone have one? Which optic and mount did you use?

Thanks

Caveat: I'm assuming that S&W uses the same footprint that they do on the Shield Plus.

They went with the oddball RMSc footprint, which limits your choices unless you do a little grinding or go with an adapter plate. An adapter plate raises the site and sorta defeats the purpose of an optics-ready slide. This should help.
Optics footprints

I haven't found one I'm crazy about yet (for a Shield Plus), so I'm waiting to see if I can get a solid option that doesn't require modding the slide.

I have the Holosun EPS carry. I believe the adapter plate for the RMSc footprint comes with it. I tried red and green and red worked better for me, plus a few dollars cheaper. Was just crisper dot when I looked through. Would suggest trying yourself. Went with 6 moa dot.

I like the Swampfox Sentinel for the money.

Swampfox Sentinel

Options for green or red dot, manual or automatic brightness. I use the manual red dot, which has shake-awake so it uses less battery. One caveat being that the battery is installed from the bottom so you will need to re-zero when changing the battery.

The optic is also a little thinner than others so you may want to consider their Ironsides optic shield.
