Best $60 I ever spent on a smoker to smoke meats
LINK
I've done wings, brisket, ribs, boston butt and fish in it.

it smokes pretty well? I have a grill that's about to fall apart and am looking for something to hold me over til I save enough for an egg or komodo joe

Yep. You make sure the air vents open up over the meat for the smoke to go around it. It may look like a beer keg cut up but it sure does great work

Ive been having my current Smokey for about 7 years now and it is really about the best value you can get when it comes to BBQ pits. Just a solid product. Many spare ribs have met their demise on it.

I've had mine for 2 years now and so glad I got it besides a Weber smoker.
I love smoking short ribs on it

Best bang for your buck. The wife bought me a pretty nice pit last yr but I still resort to the ole smokey. I've used it for so long That getting my heat and smoke perfect takes no effort.
