Question about BCGs.... Is there any difference between semi and full auto BCG's? I've heard no but looking for confirmation

Full auto BCG's are heavier than semi auto

From what I remember they're actually heavier in weight to handle the full auto cycling.

I've read some 3 gunners like to run the full auto bolt because they shoot so much with the added bonus of a little extra recoil reduction.

I gotcha. But a regular bcg would work in a full auto rifle is my understanding.

Whether it lasts or not is another thing

Who the frick can afford to shoot full auto anyway??

It'll work, but I think only in semi auto.

Well the ones I have are M16 BCG's so I guess that makes them "fully auto"?

I'm seriously considering getting a 5.56upper for build instead of the intended 300 BLK mostly because of ammo shortage for the BLK.

Thoughts?
Talk me out of it someone

FTR, I already have a DD 5.56

If anything just build a .22

I probably wouldn't build another 5.56 unless I was selling it.

I have too many quality parts into this build to make it a 22. If I do a 22 build, it'll be polymer.

Ill probably just do the 300 BLK and wait for ammo to become available or start reloading.
