scale 1-10, with ten being the highest ranked factory gun,,, aprox. where does Rock River hit?
As far as factory guns, I would say around 8. people will interpret "factory guns" a little different. I would put them ahead of most. I have 2 of them.

I did find some "backordered" through cabelas.. Just ordered herters 55gr 223.. $159 per 500.. Called them and they said they would get it in at end of january and ship out. So i went ahead and placed an order for 1000 rounds
Thanks. Just ordered some myself

Go with a 2 point sling
I've used both Viking Tactical and Vickers there both solid choices.
2 point slings allow you to cinch the weapon down to your side so you can be hands free getting over obstacles, crawling around etc. without being as awkward as a 3 point and you can loosen them up and they'll hang like a 1 point sling

is it possible to find a stripped lower anywhere online? i wish i could bill for the time i've spent looking...

Online, no. Your best bet is a local shop, or the ridiculous prices on gunbroker type sites.

Well that's too bad. A few of us had talked about putting ours up on there but a string of tragic boating accidents have wiped out our supply.

Sorry if its already been covered but I didn't read the whole thread. What do we know about Yankee Hill Machine? Specifically this. TIA

Whats a fair price to sell Pmags for right now that won't make ppl think you are trying to rip them off?
re: Official AR-15 threadPosted by Grunt Actual on 12/26/12 at 7:53 pm to TigerTatorTots
I mean if people are trying to but Pmags right now I would assume they are expecting to get ripped off. If you're having problems with you're conscience I'd say 20-25 bucks is fair.

I don't want to be that a-hole who is trying to take advantage of the situation, but at the same time, I'd like to make a little profit. I'm going to monitor Bayoushooter to see if anyone is looking for them at $30. If so, I'll probably start a thread selling for $25. Most people on there are selling for $35-$45. Looks like gunbroker is coming back down to earth. Was averaging $50/mag over the weekend. Now its back to about $30.

Yeah I think $30 is where they will stabilize at.
