Locally Academy (not in LA) had a good supply of 5.56 today (Independence, $9.99 / box of 20). Also saw all other calibers except .22LR, 9mm, and .223. Tons of shotgun ammo and a bunch of 10mm.

I was lucky to get it IMO. I think highest you can reasonably expect is $50 per 500 pack. Unless you get a straggler who doesn't really care about money

Just struck gold at Walmart, all those days at Academy paid off, few people bought boxes of 100 count Federal .223 for me, I left with over 500 rounds of .223 and 5.56
