Off-road adventure for the board on a Saturday morning

These videos have action, adventure, awesome scenery, a little gambling, a wreck (involving a woman driver), an emergency repair of an axle using a very unorthodox method and even the rescue of a group of people.
Pretty much what any action/adventure movie would have except there is NO romance.

Crossing through the El Dorado National Forest up in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the Rubicon Trail is truly one of the most beautiful ones I've been on bar none. Of course, its unrelenting 22 miles of boulders that need to be crawled, steep ledges that need to be climbed, narrow trees that need to be squeezed between, deep muddy water crossings that need to be forded and tippy off camber terrain that needs to be carefully negotiated is ultimately what makes the Rubicon Trail so legendary and famous around the world.

No problem. I think those are some of the best outdoor videos done by amateurs I have seen. The editing was done really well. It took a few views but the music has grown on me quite a bit and I think it really goes well with the action in videos.

I watched these a while back. Rubicon is definitely on my list. (Along with many others)

Damn, looks awesome !!! Is your front driver's side fender missing or does it just look like that because of the angle of the photograph?
Just saw this crazy jeep on yahoo. It's not for road use but it looks like a monster.

it's the angle but the stock fender flares are trimmed way back. i have a ton of them i keep around for replacing when they either get too tore up or just plain ripped off.
