Odd situation - Found holsters

Wife (no pics) was jogging last Wednesday and found a shoulder holster rig lying on the sidewalk on Government at Jefferson. She thought it might have been a tool belt or something else, but brought it home. I went back to the area to make sure there wasn't a gun laying around in the grass or bushes and didn't find any, but I found a second belt holster.

The shoulder rig is leather and fits my Glock 26 and the belt holster is leather of the same size and I estimated brand new they were about $300 worth based on the brands.

I called BRPD to determine if anything was reported stolen and there was none that they could tell me. The officer suggested that I could bring them to the BRPD evidence drop-off and I told him that if there was no reported theft then it falls under finders keepers. No point donating them to Murphy Paul IMO.

Anyone's wife/girlfriend/SO get pissed at them lately and throw your holsters out the car window?
