October trip to Toledo Bend

We will be making our October trip to Toldeo Bend soon. Weekend of eating, drinking, and fishing. We will be staying at the end of the 1215. Any good fishing tips out that way?

I bought one and lost it twice this spring. Swam out each time to get that high dollar bait back.
Finally lost it in a nasty pond that I would not dare swim out to get.

Been doing really good in San Miguel on frogs and swim jigs (white for both) in the shallows and on a rage craw under and around docks and in brush piles.
Will straight up catch em, and good ones! They just came out with the 110 size and it's just right.
