Bossier Parish 25' up in a climber. Dropped Thermacell and it sounded I dropped a drum set. Tried hunting without it for all of 2 minutes before climbing down to retrieve it. Needless to say I ran off everything within a 1/4 mile!

Well I was fiddling around on TD and 3 deer walked up. BUSTED. Oh we'll. 3 spikes

Ladder stand overlooking a little clearing. Had a doe walk right behind me at 7:00 but never could get a shot.
Mosquitoes aren't bad at all. Don't even have the thermacell on.

Had a doe and a yearling come by. The doe stayed in the thicket, but I could have run the yearling thru. I'm getting soft.

Got word from the boss man we are heading down to the ranch Thursday. Our rifle season is open, but he wants to dove hunt...but either way I'm ready.

Went for a walk behind the house with the dogs. A pack of hogs came at me which scared the crap out of me till the dogs got on there asses.
