Any updates? Can't find any new info. Spending a few nights there and don't really plan to enter the water or eat the local seafood we catch. But would like to

Do it, the beach will be full of people in the water and there is nothing wrong with the seafood.

The most recent scare was a sewage bust in Biloxi pretty good ways away from OS.

Ahhh, where r u fishing. We dont eat anything caught near the harbour. Beach is fine but take the boat if u have to the Barrier islands. U can take the big boat to ship out of biloxi or try to bum a ride to our island horn. Right now I would recommend Surf casting off of East beach.

Best places to eat around OS:

Breakfest:
Tatonut

Lunch:
BB's po Boys
po Box express
Phoenicians greek best place on whole coast dinner
VK Noodle house (Vietnamese)
The shed BBQ

If you want seafood try:
Mary Mahoneys in biloxi marinated crab claws always extra garlic

Half Shell in Biloxi

Vestiges is good too

If you have boat access, Bellefountain Reef is on fire right now.

Am I missing something? For as long as I can remember I've been eating fish caught in the bay.

Me too, has somebody been spreading a smear campaign out of state against our seafood?

Eta: I wouldn't go in the water if you're immuno-compromised, dude I know recently had to have his leg amputated after a fishing trip because of a Vibrio infection.
