Probably Richland/Morehouse. I bet Wham is loaded as well so throw Ouachita on that list too.

I heard it's dry. Sounds good for flooded ponds near it on private property though...

I know of a field around Lake Village holding an estimated 15- 20K speckle bellies right now. Also heard good reports of some flooded field holding lots of birds in Jones. I think it will be a good opener but after that unless we get some weather it will be tough for a while, probably until the second split.

I hunt off of hwy 15. My buddy had thousands of teal flying around 2pm. Right outside Monroe.

Damn, must be nice. Rode around Red River/3 Rivers this morning...not much to speak of there. Saw some ducks, but not enough to make me want to bother with that place in a week. Water situation is not good either. Birds (and hunters) will be concentrated when it opens next weekend.

My brother told me that lake D'arbonne will be a good place to hunt this first split. Much more birds than last year
