I am looking into getting a set of 37x13.50x20 tires and right now i am running a 35x12.50x20. My question is is the 37's i am looking at weight 80 lbs a piece and the 35's i am running are 90 lbs a piece, I know less weight will make gas mileage better but wouldnt the size still affect the MPG without a gear reduction?

yes and no, it takes a lot more power to maintain speed , but if you are on level or downward slopping ground you get better mileage

Right now i am running those Black Bear M/T's which is a Toyo clone.

This is what the website shows the weight of the Blackbears at and the tires i am looking into are Gladiator X-Comps, pretty good looking tire at a good price

though i'll likely move down to airbags and 35's when i get my fifth wheel.
