LINK

Academy has this vortex for $149 and you get a $50 Academy gift card when you buy it. Plenty of scope for rimfire. The several Vortex scopes I have, even the lower end ones, have never let me down.

Perhaps "last minute" was the wrong choice of words.

What will the new scope be used for? Will it be on a 22LR or some other rimfire?

I’ve honestly never even thought about putting a scope on my Ruger bolt action 22. Maybe I should.

what did you end up getting? I just bought a 22lr and am looking at scopes. Im not a hunter. Just want to teach my daughter (and myself) how to shoot. Maybe eventually shoot some squirrels.

I recently bought a Burris Rimfire 3x9x40. It has a 50 yard parallax so the crosshairs are clear at close range/high magnification. It's pretty nice considering the price.

Amazon Link - Burris Droptine

Look at the BSA sweet line of scopes.I have one on My 17hmr it has the bullet drop turrets already figured out & they are really close as far the drop for the two rounds available.
