I’m getting a new lab this spring and been thinking about really organizing my truck for the field...training and hunting. I travel a lot between GA and NELA during duck season. Thinking about doing a combo shell and floor drawer system like Decked. Assume someone here has been down this road or knows someone that has. Any info appreciated.

Just hopping in to say this is a great setup.

I'd run this setup if I didn't have to haul s four wheeler pretty regular during the season.

Whatever brand you get, be sure to get the hinged opening side windows.

I had one without and it sucks having to crawl on your hands and knees to get stuff in the front of the bed. The next one I got had them and I would never own one again without them.

Post pictures of your setup if you don't mind. This setup is likely in my future as well.

ARE topper has been good to me on my second or third. This time I looked for floor draw system but settled on homemade for my Titan. See Youtube. We pull a travel trailer and the platform makes equipment storage and access awesome.

If I can do it all again, which I might, I would install something like this.

This is my set up right now:

Now I do plenty of camping out of the back of the truck but also like to utilize the bed so I keep it set up like this. Mostly keep all my gear in big Rubbermaid containers and they fit perfect under the deck.

Pick of set up:

That makes sense. Can you still crack them open for ventilation in the summer. Worried it could get a little hot back there on a long trip with the pup.
