Didn't get any response on the OT but I decided to take on the task of remodeling our kitchen and so far have painted the cabinets, had granite installed and it's time to do the mosaic tile backsplash and I've realized I suck at tiling, and I'm just tired of the project and ready to get someone to come in and finish it.

Anyone have a decent tile guy, I should have all material to finish the job, it's about 30 sq ft or so

Be prepared to drop $300ish on it at least, guy has to set the tile, then come grout, then seal. 3 trips for a small amount of work won't be cheap.

Being a small job, I think it going to cost more then that due to a bunch of trips were as the same person can take on a big job for those days.

You need to try to find a guy who works for a tile company and pay him under the table to take care of it after work.

30sqft for mosaic tile 12"x12" mesh backed? If you were in Gonzales I'd do it for $300. Not making that many trips to Walker for 2-3 hours worth of work.

Premixed mastic, v notched trowel, you can use a razor blade to cut out around outlets and switches shouldn't need to make very many cuts with a saw. Come back with unsanded grout, sponge, then polish it off with cheese cloth, then seal if you choose to.

The work is about 3-5 hours total, it's gonna take 3 days to do it though.
