quote:

Crossbow, Evolution(Barnett) 2 blade rage. I had to leave and go to work, so no film on this one(got his last 5 kills). He stayed, and didn't want to give up(put in very proud, right here) and when I'd got back, he had shot it, recruited his sister to help track it, had it drug down the ridge, and sister was firing up the wheeler to pull it back to the house. He shot it out of an Ameristep ground blind, in the rain.

THis is awesome. Made me smile!!

I hope little INFIDEL is that into it one day!

Yeah, I was very proud. Its like you teach em things, but you don't know if its all sinking in, then you step back, and when they put it all together, its really something. Another part of the hunt...He had ran back to the house after the shot, but his mother had told him to wait, and that I'd be back in 30-40 minutes. He told her it was raining, and he had to get on the blood trail, like quick...and that he listened for the crash, and thinks he knew where it was, but took his sister so they could tag-team the blood trail....Just sitting and listening to both kids just retelling the whole thing was absolutely incredible...still smiling.
