What's this washer for? I don't get it. I bought a crush washer but this washer came with it.

Hit it with a torch and see what it does.

its a spacer, in case the threads on your barrel are longer than the threads inside the brake. if you are planning to use a suppressor, never use a crush washer behind it (use the spacer)

So it's cool to shoot with the spacer with no suppressor? I learned something.

Seriously, put that washer under a small torch and see what it does. Then I'll tell what it's really used for.

You won't frick it up. It's supposed to be heated so you can peel it apart and use the various thickness of the shims to properly clock and torque the brake.

How much knowledge do you need for fire? Or a heat gun? Or the burner on your range? Hang thee head in shame and turn in your mancard.

I have an electric range.

And I'm a veteran of these fine US armed forces. I get to keep my man card unless I start sucking dick one day.

Well place confusing washer on part that turns red when knob is turned.

I am too but that just means your mancard has a V-device. Not having the capability to burn something doesn't cut you any slack around these parts...

Oh, and have a razor blade handy. If you have one...

This is what you should get if that is a peel washer.

It's just a stack of very thin washers that have been pressed together. Should be 0.002", 0.005", and 0.010" thicknesses.
