I'm looking to get a multi-tool and a knife w/christmas money

I want the knife to be around 3.5 in. and of good quality. I dont have much experience with either and have a budget of about $120-$150 total.

Suggetions?

Just bought the Outdoor Edge Flip n Blade I think it's called. Bad arse knife. Normal blade plus on the back side it's got a nice gut hook. Nice rubbered grip. Bout the size of a bigger pocket knife.

If you're looking for something else I'd buy a nice Leatherman and for a smaller pocket knife I'd get a Case. They make good knives

I have a Leatherman Surge, which isn't the best one they make, but it has most of the tools I wanted. It is kind of heavy, so if I were to do it again, I would spent the extra money on the TTi (Titanium) version.

I'm a fan of Gerbers. The Flik Multitool is my favorite (I never cared for leathermans myself). I have had a serrator as my knife for YEARS and love it. However, I recently found a Kershaw Tanto on sale ($23!)and love it too. The Kershaw is what I keep in my pocket every day now.

For all your knife needs

I love this place, bought multiple knives from him. He is located in Columbia, LA and I had mine within two days or so.

If you are getting both, I follow along on the Leatherman rec for the tool. For the knive, it's tough to beat CRKT for the money on a quality knife.
