Bought a pair of the alpha burly pros a few weeks ago. Sumbitches are easy to take on and off, you can stuff your pants in way easier, and I found my feet could breathe better. Wore them from 0600 til around lunch and my feet barely went to sweating when I had the top loosened up. Don't cinch them frickers down though. Talk about a damn oven.

Walking around, I prefer the Grange. Taking off, the burly is where it's at. There is just no way to get the Grange ones off easily

Lacrosse Burly for me

I would take a Muck if given to me for free, but I would wear em once and throw them away.

Not sure I wouldn't rip the shite out of them walking through briars and thorns (which I do regularly). Are you supposed to clean the mud off of the neoprene?

You can get LaCrosse boots on sale all of the time. Just have to look around

If you ever use your boots north of the Mason Dixon line, then Mucks. They are extremely warm as others are saying. But they hold up fantastically well. I got my Chore Streets almost 4 years ago from my job in the Bakken, and they were well worn by the time I got them. But theyre still going strong. They were warm enough I only needed 1 pair of socks normally, only ccasionally needed 2. Even working in 3 ft of snow when it was 20 below 0.

I'm trying to decide right now between grange and burly. I just feel like if I get burly, I'm going to have times where my feet just get too hot, and vice versa w the grange. Obviously it's hit in LA more than it is cold. How cold would it have to be before my feet r just too cold in the grange?

I always try and keep a pair of each honestly. If I'm not mistaken, I think it got cold enough to wear my burlies once or twice. But I'm glad a wore them when I did though!!

Most people have both unless they have fat feet. I'll wear the grange down to 40 or so. Can't wear anything thicker than light smartwool socks because they fit like laced up tight tennis shoes

You can get uninsulated burlies. Grange and Burly are just the fit. Grange are better for walking in sticky stuff and more comfortable walking all day long IMHO
