Mockingbirds/ Birder Question

So for years past I have a large bush in my front yard where every spring cardinals would come and build their nests sometimes a few times a year. Even last year had a Brown Thrasher and cardinals at the same time in the same bush.
Well this year a friggin mockingbird has taken over and now I haven't seen a cardinal. My guess is because those asswipes are territorial. So....should I kick out the mockingbirds with force??

I am bored.
