Mitchell 307, made in France.

I just acquired a Mitchell 307. Serial # 226276. Finding the year it was made and what it's worth has been difficult. It came with what looks to be a very old rod also. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I had seen this earlier and all I could glean from that is it's pre 1971. The reel works flawlessly and came with an obviously old rod.

Also it's made in France and is a salt water model.
