Headed back from Venice and we have seen at least 2 dozen ships lined up in the river from Venice up to Belle chase. Anybody know what's up?

Is it foggy? I think it was closed the other day due to the fog

Not foggy today. Clear as a bell. Has us puzzled. Couldn't find anything in the news about an accident or closure.

River is really low, shutting down from fog a few dats ago puts them behind.

Sounds like there's a shortage of pilots.

I hereby volunteer myself to make a great and selfless career sacrifice to help alliviate the shortage of Mississippi River pilots. Someone please direct the boss of hiring pilots to send me an information packet and I'll start the process as soon as tomorrow.

Yea but if it means I can help my OB buddies not have to navigate through a wall of waiting ships than I'll do it.

I have great career aspirations and lots of potential. I'd be throwing away 6 years of college. I'd be throwing away 3 years of professional development. I'd be leaving my boss an impossible position to fill.

I'll do it though. Just for y'all.

Hope your daddy is a pilot too. Almost need to be the direct heir to Pharoah to get in on that.
