I was referring to MGCBC covering their arse not IGFA. I think IGFA got a call inquiring if a broken bill would disqualify a fish, and suspect IGFA was not sent a picture of the fish which in my opinion qualifies as mutilated.

Agreed, I wish bobby would chime in.

As previously said a decision was made, protested, then confirmed so nothing more to argue over. I guess I'm guilty of keeping stirring the pot just out of my curiosity. I'll hang up now.

Absolutely not. The IGFA would not risk its reputation or its credibility over this.
