My roof is the best wind resistance roof their is. A "hip roof"(spelling)? Equal on all four sides. Wind glances off from any side.

I love mine and I never have to worry about shingles again.

Yes as already stated the tin is corrugated every 8 inches or so so there is air flow under the ridges. The facia boards were capped with prebent metal specific to my roof pitch. The gable ends were capped to prevent any lift from the wind on the outside pieces of tin. The metal was screwed down with provided instructions according to a wind rating test withstanding 130 mph winds

Moved in the week of katrina. Withstood Rita and Gustauv. Gaustauv hit hard, bounced right off.
