Mechanical broadheads and shoot thru mesh???

I have always shot fixed blade broadheads. Have made the switch this year and decided to try the Rage 2 blade. The rage website says they are fine to shoot through the mesh on a pop up blind.
What are your opinions?

Make certain that Rage's claim is true by testing it before you try it in the field. I would think that the arrow would deflect a bit, but I could be completely wrong.

Regular 2 blade rage will open probably, the rage extreme or hypodermic have the shock collar opening mechanism and would probably not open imo. They are better than the original rage anyway. As said earlier test it yourself first.

They open, or the ones I used to use did. I'd practice with some first before I ruined a shot on a deer.

First welcome to the OB..
Next i shoot Grim reapers and I always open up the windows when hunting out of a ground blind, i would not shoot thru the mesh windows.

Killed a doe Sunday morning and I shot thru the mesh with no problems. I am shooting Grim Reapers.

I never even attempt it. Just brush up your blind well enough and shoot through a clear opening.

I wouldn't attempt it. Just seems like too much could go wrong. And with my luck it would be a once in a lifetime buck and I'd miss.
