I'm familiar with the one project on Blind River. It's supposed to tie in by St James Boat Club last I heard.

I know the salvinia is bad, to me the fourchette is just as bad or worse. It looks like a prairie flower, and forms a thick mat. You think that it's solid ground, but guess what it's not... ask me how I know.

Size 11 hip boots doesn't have the surface area that a flat boat does to support a 175lb man. Also, it maybe be April, but muddy wet jeans still make for a cold ride in the back of the truck.

Is there any negatives associated with the projects in the Maurepas Swamp area other than them being suspended?
