Oh my....

All previous tiny swimbaits I've tried had no real action from the tail. We shall see. That blue and pink will be killer in the clear water I fish.

Yeah I think Chas has a hit with you white perchers. Also works well at night under the lights on the coast

I hope they include this color in the mini's. Looks like Monkey Milk on steroids.

How far North will these be found in stores? What would be a possible place south of Ellic?

I really don't know. It was only a couple years ago the original shad made it to Venice Marina, and that was when it was the hot bait there. His operation is not all that large so I would imagine ordering them will be your best bet for a while.

I heard that he started outsourcing them now, don't know how true it is.
ive got 2 packs of shrimp creole that are both completely different colors, same with the green hornet

He may have. It would stand to reason, as most do once they get going.
Last time I talked to him was a coup years ago and I pretty sure he was still doing it in house then. Times change and China has cheap labor

The material was changed a bit. The newer plastic is more durable and provides a more consistent color scheme. The older plastic was kinda random at times when it came to color.

Ordering is best. The supply numbers for the mini are lower than the regular Matrix, so what does make it to stores will sell very fast. The bait works really well. Much more action than any other sacalait bait I've used. They also work really well double rigged for school trout. If you're fishing lights or other areas where you see a bunch of glass minnows, tie a couple on under a cork and thank me later.

bought these within two months of each other. its not like it was the older ones compared to newer. I messaged him and he said they forgot to add flake to it, but it was completely clear like they forgot to add the dye.

Ah. I misunderstood. I was thinking you were talking about the old plastic vs. the newer plastic. I will say that in general, it's much more rare to come across a bad batch now than it was before.

Didn't know this was a Louisiana company. Will be ordering today.

ETA: There are only the 3 colors shown here on their website for the Mini so far.

I ordered my mini matrix on their web site. He sent me a email and said they was on back order and that he was sending me some free baits! Well he sent me like 5 packs of hooks and atleast 8 packs of baits, and it only took like 4 weeks for my minis to come in.
