I was surf fishing the Gulf once on the panhandle really early in the morning and had a Navy helicopter pilot that was jogging tell me that if people ever saw what was actually out there from the air no one would ever swim in that water again.

Sharks have to have something built in, not to eat humans, otherwise there would be "accidents" all the time.

I've wondered that myself. There are plenty of sharks off of pretty much every popular beach. It's pretty obvious they don't see us as food typically.
