Just got in late to the camp at TB. Looking to finally get this boat in the water.

Who else is here this weekend?

Since this pic I've put the SS prop and new hummingbirds front n back.

Been here since yesterday. Bass have been kinda slow, but we managed to pull up a few hogs.

7 lbs caught yesterday (4-9-15) on a watermelon senko

7.5 lber caught today (4-10-15) on spinnerbait

Other guys at our camp fished for white bass and sacalait. Fish the Pendleton bridge with shiners and you can pull these in every cast.

The bass were caught off of secondary humps off of points. Look for humps that come up to about 8 feet with grass and throw a rat-l-trap or spinnerbait over it. We caught some 3's and 4's. Also caught some small ones. We also lost a couple big ones on rat-l-trap where the hooks weren't in them too good. The bite has been kind of funny. Best of luck. Hope you smoke em!

Boat runs good! Quick off the idle. Tops out at about 43 loaded.

Didn't fish Thursday. Dodged rain storms till after lunch. Landed 4 fish. One keeper. Missed 4-5 fish for some reason. Saw a few of those missed were nice. :/

I still just don't understand this lake. Where and how to fish it baffle me.

I'm ready to drop $$$ on a guide.

one of these days I'm gonna figure this lake out. Till then all I can do hack at it. Two days of fishing. 6 keepers. 2 over 4lbs. Lost two studs at the boat. 3-4 good fish lost.
2 throw backs.

I have never limited on this lake. Frustrating.

On the bright side me n lil dude had fun fishing. He is throwing that baitcaster with more n more confidence.

That's what it's all about right there!

That's some nice fish too!

BTW, if you wanna drop some money on a guide call Living the Dream. We usually fish with their guide Brandon. Thursday however, we fished with Harold Allen. He's a bassmaster hall-of-famer. He knows his stuff and we had a blast with him. Great guy!

PillageURvillage thank you sir. I do try to enable him on all outdoor fun.

As a kid I can remember only 2 hunts my dad took me on. And not very many fishing trips. So I've tried, and succeeded, to shatter that legacy. My boy has caught bass, 35" bull reds, 10lb catfish, drum, flounder, sheep heads etc. killed deer, ducks, rabbits n squirrels. He has accomplished more in 9 years than I did in 45.

As long as I am able, I will continue to put him in a position to enjoy what is his passion.
