I have a 8 year old female aussie that has been diagnosed with Lymphoma Null Cell. Prognosis is not very good but we have her at LSU and can't just give it up. Been in treatment for a month and still feels good and lots of energy. Has anyone here had to deal with this disease.

I know people get attached to their dogs. I don't really get as attached, but I understand the sentiment. That being said, put the poor animal out of its misery.

I know your dog means a lot to you and your family but the reality is you are about to sink a bunch of money into a hole that might get you a few more months.

It is your money but know that you are the type of owner vets love because they will run everything you can think of up on your bill in the "hope" of extended life.

In reality, it is a dog and will die before you regardless. Like I said, your money but think about it.

Had a boxer with it, she was 4-1/2 yrs old. Put her on prednisone to keep the swelling down. She wasn't in any pain and was as active as she ever was, but about a month later, she couldn't swallow and had to put her down. It sucked. Big time.
