Very sorry to hear this, because I knew what your dog went through.

We lost a puppy to parvo years ago, and you're right - a terrible three days.


When the emotion from your loss has passed a little, start an outdoor board topic about "how to cure parvo", and I'll tell you what a certain famous hunter I know pretty will did about ridding his place of parvo.

Ive had alot, buster, duke, blue, cosmo, spot, and several more that have died but none was like my mutt lil ann.
I found her under the shed after she passed when I was about 12. Had her about 7 yrs. I was the only one she would let touch her. Im closer to my cur now but thats it, other than him she was the best. I was young, but insisted on burying her myself. I carried her down to the creek by myself and did the deed. Helps a kid grow up for sure.

Dogs almost never survive it on their own and rarely do with some intense vet care.
