got back from saskatchewan hunt, and our luggage did not make it. (United air) In one container was the cape of my dads whitetail. He froze it and put in checked bag. If the luggage would have made it back with us, no problem.

Now they have found his bags, and it will be returned tomorrow, 2 days later! I hate to be around when he opens that bag!!! YUK.

report... we hunted with canadian trophy quest. My dad killed a 120's 10pt on the first afternoon. He messed up...thought it was bigger.

i killed a 140" 10. my biggest deer ever. my cape and luggage made it back ok.

We saw a bunch of deer, all huge bodied. our bucks weighed over 250lbs. Highly recommended trip.

Was it packed with dry ice? Dry ice and a good cooler will give you a pretty wide window. If it's only been on ice for 48 hours, It might survive.
