Small claims court is the biggest crock of shite. A former friend wrecked my truck and refused to pay. I did get him to admit that he would pay through text messages and on a recorded phone call. After spending $250 in court fees, I finally had my day. The guy didn't end up showing up, and even with all of my evidence, the judge didn't want to rule against him. I had a pretty up-front conversation with her in the middle of the courtroom, and she finally gave in.
Moral of the story......don't expect the court to do anything for you except waste your time and money

is the check bounced that is a felony as over 500 bucks in Louisiana call the DA and he will get your money. If he stopped payment still call the DA and ask for his help.

I would definitely contact the BBB and file a complaint, then point out the A+ rating claim. They probably won't like a scam artist using their ratings fraudulently.
