Looking to make a trip for bass tomorrow

A buddy and I tore up the bass last week at old river but the Mississippi is rising again so that's out.
Anyone got any suggestions on places to go catch some bass in south louisiana preferably in the Baton Rouge or Lafayette area?

I think nobody wants to steer you in wrong direction. Tide is damn near slack till noon in bayou black area, might try spillway-grand lake area. But if you're going blind, you're more than likely going to have a tough day if you don't know the area.
