For the family. Just like to find out from folks who have one. Is it worth buying one. Like to get one to cruise up and down the river maybe pull a tube, i know you cant ski behind one unless you have a big motor on back. The reason i like to get one is the room my kids ages 7&4 have room to move around in it. Just like to know what you guys think if you have one.

Looking back I wish I'd gotten one when the kids were smaller. In the right places you can also fish for bream too.

If you're close to saltwater you can crab and fish with kids too.

Perfect for a couple of younger kids IMHO. You can comfortably get everyone out on the water at the same time with little to no bitching. When the kids get tired, let them sleep on the back bench under the Bimini top.

Make sure to get one with a decent sized engine. Topping out at 7mph kinda sucks

Looking to buy New. The main reason why im looking to buy a party barge is because i have young kids and think it woukd perfect for us. It comes standard with 40 ELPT FourStroke BigFoot Motor. Wondering if i should upgrade to 50 or 60 motor. The price to upgrade to a bigge motor is not that bad.

What size Pontoon boat you looking at. If you are planning on keeping it a while find one that has a aluminum deck. One we keep at the camp is a 20ft that has a 70hp. We use it for fishing, sking, BBQ and partying on the Bayou.

Looking at a 20ft . Yes i will be keeping it for long time. So you have a 70 hp and you are able to ski behind it that is good info. So im gonna defianately look into getting a 70.

I have an older ('95) 24ft with a 85hp Yamaha on that we use when a bunch of us want to go to the lake or just ride leisurely. I've owned several boats and the use we get out of the pontoon boat far exceeds all the other boats. If I were looking to buy a new one , I like the Suntrackers and the Bentlys.

My dad picked up a sun tracker 22' dlx a couple months ago and likes it a lot. I've ridden/fished on it a couple times and it is a comfortable and smooth ride with plenty of space. We had 6 people on the boat with a couple of kids and never had a problem casting
