I will not be abusing a select few of my guns. However, I do agree with you other than a few of mine.

I do baby the ones I've been handed down. The rest get well taken care of, but they get used.

i use all of mine also.. but like i said, that montefeltro is not about to be taken into the woods or water where so much of a twig touches it, too nice.... strictly dove field. Thats why i have the camo super vinci, its made for the water! i was just talking about a beat around 22 pistol in my post on the herritage. I just can get whatever i need out of the herritage and dont cringe if its dropped in the dirt, beat against a tree when im cutting limbs, or dinged on the tractor jumping on and off.

got the one with both cylinders and the fiber optic adjustable sight

I hate the looks of those fiber optic sights on a classic gun.

I've had a single six in the boat everyday for ten years now and it is still running strong

Heading home from Gulf Shores tomorrow . I plan on stopping at the BPS and see what they have in stock. I know they carry the Ruger but not sure about the Heritage .

I have the single six in stainless, my brother has one in blued.
Both are very well made and shoot great.
IMO mine looks nicer with the wooden grips, but we both agree those black plastic grips he has fit the hand better.

One of the best guns I ever bought.
Really helped me become a better shot with a pistol.
